Class Notes - 1960s

1960

Charles Hulings B.A. recalls that he was “one of the few who got married in Frank Manor House in December 1953.” Hulings started college at Vanport College in 1949. He graduated from Lewis & Clark in January 1960 after working to support his family while going to school for seven years.

Dale Patrick B.S. and Mary Webber Patrick B.A. are teaching Old and New Testament at United Theological College, Harare, Zimbabwe, as volunteers with Global Ministries. They began in January and plan to continue with this mission for two to four years.

Roger Ferland B.A. has been named the Phoenix Best Lawyers Environmental Lawyer of the Year for 2010. Ferland was the first recipient of the Michael J. Brophy Distinguished Service Award presented by the State Bar of Arizona’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section. He is chair of Quarles & Brady’s Phoenix Environmental Practice Group.
