Dog party helps students feel at home on campus

Students organized an event for their pet-deprived peers, bringing together faculty, staff, students, neighbors, and more than a dozen canine companions.

Students organized an event for their pet-deprived peers, bringing together faculty, staff, students, neighbors, and more than a dozen canine companions.

For the second straight year, students who work for the Office of Campus Living coordinated a dog party on campus, inviting members of the community, neighbors, and friends to bring their pets for a social hour on the lawn. The event offered residential students—particularly first-year students who may be away from home for the first time—a reminder of home.
