This summer, Lewis & Clark began construction of the new Diane Gregg Memorial Pavilion and the renovation of Agnes Flanagan Chapel. The pavilion will complete architect Paul Thiry’s original vision for Agnes Flanagan Chapel, which included an additional space for smaller gatherings and events. The pavilion’s open design and seating will provide a flexible venue for campus activities, community get-togethers, and cultural performances.

Diane Gearhart Gregg BA ’57 died in 2007. She was married to Glenn Gregg BS ’55, life trustee and treasurer emeritus, who died in 2008. Construction of the Diane Gregg Memorial Pavilion and the accompanying renovation of Agnes Flanagan Chapel are primarily funded through bequests from the estates of Glenn Gregg and Margaret Murdy, along with gifts from their many colleagues and friends.

Scheduled completions are August 2010 for chapel renovations and spring 2011 for the Gregg Pavilion.
