Three Gilman International Scholarships awarded to LC students!

Please join us is congratulating three LC students who were recently selected to receive the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship!

Kathryn Kucera is a junior majoring in Sociology and Anthropology, and minoring in Gender Studies. She will be studying in Morocco during the spring semester.

Belle Mahoney, a senior majoring in English, will be studying in Cuenca, Ecuador this spring.

Samantha Stein is also a Sociology and Anthropology major.  She is a senior this year and plans to study in Morocco next semester.

The Gilman International Scholarship is administered by the Institute of International Education and sponsored by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.  Applications for the fall 2011 cycle will be available online in February 2011 and have a postmark deadline in April.
