Alicia Roberts Frank

Rogers Hall

Alicia joined the Teacher Education Department at Lewis & Clark in 2013. Previously, she taught at SUNY Plattsburgh in the undergraduate elementary-education program and the graduate special-education program.  Alicia is a special educator at heart with a passion for literacy and inclusion.  She earned an Ed.D. in Learning and Instruction from the University of San Francisco, a MATESOL from Monterey Institute of International Studies, and a BS in Secondary Education/English from SUNY College at Buffalo.  Alicia has taught children with disabilities in the first through twelfth grades in both public schools and for a private, non-profit elementary school for children with dyslexia.  Previous to teaching special education, she taught English as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco.
