Web Content Producer
Michael Mannheimer is a writer, editor, and multimedia specialist. He loves telling stories, and spends much of his time as the Web Content Producer uncovering all the amazing things going on around campus.
Michael is an award-winning Arts & Culture journalist and worked as the assistant music editor for Willamette Week, covering local music, food, and the Portland Trail Blazers. He’s a former editor at the L.A. Alternative and has written for URB, City Arts, Band of the Day, and the Etsy Blog. He graduated from Occidental College in 2007 with a degree in English Literature & Comparative Studies.
Recently Michael returned home after a three year stint living in Brooklyn, where he worked for Togather.com, a startup that gives readers direct access to writers who want to meet new audiences across the country. When he’s not staring at a computer screen, he loves to see live music, run through the streets of Portland, and play pickup basketball. He also DJs and volunteers and serves as the faculty/staff advisor at KLC, the L&C radio station.
