Yumi Sera

Yumi Sera BA ’82 is the director of partnerships for the Disability Rights Fund, which funds disabled persons’ organizations in Rwanda. She recently met with former AES students Pascaline Umulisa and Dida Nibagwire, remarkable women who are making a difference in Rwanda after studying as Dallaire Scholars at Lewis & Clark. She mentions they were also lucky enough to run into fashion designer Matthew Rugamba BA ’13 at the same restaurant. Sera says she remains a believer in international exchange and that “L&C does it best!”
