Adam Lewis Wiedmann

Adam Wiedmann BA ’01 was featured in Architecture and Design magazine. He is a sculptor who works with metal to create enormous structures, which are displayed in numerous public parks and museums around the country, as well as on the Hewlett Packard campus in Palo Alto, California. Wiedmann says he was inspired to create by his experiences in Bruce West’s sculpture class at Lewis & Clark. 

Adam Wiedmann BA ’01, a single father of two daughters, lives in St. Helena, California, in the heart of wine country. His primary career focus is in the arts as a sculptor and owner of Wiedmann Sculpture Studios. His contemporary abstract forms can be found worldwide. He also works closely with Dana Johnson BS ’81 and her organization NIMBUS Arts, a community arts center that is fostering the next generation of creative minds. Over the past few years, Wiedmann’s love of adventure has led him down the road of photojournalism. He has documented California’s devastating wildfires, and his images have appeared in ABC News reports, the LA Times, the Guardian, and other media.
