February 23Attorneys, professors, law students gathered in the federal courthouse in downtown Portland on Feb 16 to hear about some of the most high-profile class action cases from top lawyers in the country. Lewis & Clark Law Professor and former Dean Robert Klonoff organized the event “Cutting Edge Bet the Company: Mega Class Action CLE” with assistance from Public Interest Law Project (PILP) students.
February 27Lewis & Clark Law School has one of the highest rates of public-service participation in the country, with more than one out of three graduates choosing to work in the public service sector. A number of programs and projects at the law school, such as legal clinics, externships, and the Public Interest Law Project (PILP) help students and graduates succeed in the sector.
