Visit Campus
Take a Campus Tour
Visiting Lewis & Clark is the best way to get to know us. Our three campuses—undergraduate, graduate, and law—are nestled in a forest just six miles from downtown Portland, and we have a free shuttle that will take you there.
Our undergraduate campus spans a ravine and is surrounded by trees, giving you ample space to explore and connect with nature.
Our law school is located next door to Tryon Creek State Park, which is where you’ll find members of our community hiking the 13 miles of stunning nature trails.
And our graduate school has an expansive green lawn that serves as a backyard, commonly listed as our students’ favorite place on campus. It’s also where our bee garden is housed!

Coming here and getting the tour, I also liked the smallness of the campus and how it seemed like there was a good community here.</span></p></p><p class="quote-author"><a class="quoted-profile_name" href="/live/profiles/16680-dexter-tatsukawa">Dexter Tatsukawa BA ’24</a><br/><span class="quoted-profile_meta">Sunnyvale, California</span></p></blockquote>
- <blockquote><p><p> I visited Lewis & Clark and knew that it had everything I wanted. I wanted to be at a small, liberal arts college in a Pacific Northwest city. It was also important to me to be able to join the swim team and go to an academically rigorous college.</p></p><p class="quote-author"><a class="quoted-profile_name" href="/live/profiles/17799-claire-baco">Claire Baco BA ’25</a><br/><span class="quoted-profile_meta">Shingle Springs, California</span></p></blockquote>
- <blockquote><p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">My visit to campus was a big part of the decision to attend L&C. It is so pretty, and you can feel how much the community thrives here. While on tour, I saw people spread out across the lawn in groups, playing guitar, reading, or talking, and it made me want to be part of that environment.</span></p></p><p class="quote-author"><a class="quoted-profile_name" href="/live/profiles/16676-laura-everson">Laura Everson BA ’22</a><br/><span class="quoted-profile_meta">Sitka, Alaska</span></p></blockquote>

Explore Portland
Lewis & Clark is located in the lush hills of South Portland, the city’s “sixth quadrant.” But our beautiful campuses aren’t the entire story—our location offers something that most other schools do not: an ideal setting in a vibrant, progressive city with endless networking, entertainment, and cultural resources.

I love how close some nice hiking spots are in Portland. You can find some fun nature spots and then go get a great cup of coffee after.

I fell in love with Portland and the L&C campus before pretty much anything else.

The food scene in Portland is one of my favorite things about living here. I enjoy going out to eat with friends and trying different food cuisines in the area.
