Student illustrator competes in comic-drawing marathon

Emily Block ’10, illustration editor for the Pio Log, tells the Portland Mercury about participating in a 24-hour, 24-page comic-drawing marathon.

“It’s kind of fun to see how things deteriorate—or take a really ‘creative’ turn—as you start to nod off in the 19th or 20th hour,” Block said.
