Budgets

Lewis & Clark’s fiscal year is June 1 - May 31.

LCInfonet, also known as the “web budget”, is the online, real time display of the operating general ledger. Access to the web budget is granted to employees by the director of operating and capital budgets. The web budget allows individual budget managers, department heads, or grant principal investigators to monitor their daily and monthly expenses for their respective departments or grants. One can drill down for more detailed information by accounts and transactions.

Once you have access to LCInfonet, you log in to the website: https://infotech.lclark.edu/infonet.

Use your regular email user name and password, then click on Budget Managers to enter the main operating budget screen. To view your operating budget, highlight the department, then choose the data you’d like to see by checking specific categories. If you leave the Start Month and End Month boxes blank, and click Query, the default information is the current fiscal year. If you want information for a prior year, for example, enter 06/09 in the start month box, and 05/10 in the end month box. That would give you the information for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.The information does not overlap; if you try to get information from March through September, LCInfonet does not work in that way.

The following pages show the main LCInfonet query page. The first page is general information. The second page delineates that one wants to review the Business & Finance department, the budget revised for the current year, actual revenue and expenses year to date, and the balance remaining for the year.
