Summer Camps and Conferences

Lewis & Clark College

Lewis & Clark College is an ideal setting for your summer camp or conference needs.  We are a private college with a public conscience and international reach.

Recently named the second most beautiful campus in the country by the Princeton Review we won’t mention the first, but we can tell you it’s more fun to be here in the summer.

Lewis & Clark is located on a beautiful 137-acre campus in suburban Portland, Oregon. While Portland enjoys a reputation for rain, during the summer months you can more reliably count on sunshine and warm weather to go with the grassy hills and wooded paths around the historic Frank Manor at the heart of campus. Take a virtual tour of campus to get to know us better.

Lewis & Clark is only 10 minutes from the excitement of the urban core of Portland, and in close proximity to a host of outdoor attractions both in the City of Roses and beyond.  Summer conferees are also near some of Portland’s best attractions for inspiration and for fun, too.

On campus housing

Housing options include single and double rooms in traditional residence halls as well as apartments, all within easy walking distance to meeting rooms, classrooms, and dining facilities. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. Room and board plans are available for summer conferences and camps during June and July.

Food service

Lewis & Clark is proud to be the first major college or university client of Bon Appetit Management Company,  having partnered with “the Bone” for over twenty years.  During the summer months, our guests will choose from menu options prepared with culinary expertise and commitment to socially responsible practices.

Bon Appetit staff members at Lewis & Clark are driven to create food that is alive with flavor and nutrition, prepared from scratch using authentic ingredients in a socially responsible manner for the well being of our guests, communities and the environment.
