Pre-Development Conditions
Baseline concept explains and quantifies the metrics of solar energy, habitat, carbon balance, and water on the campus land before development.
Ecology: Aquatic Habitat Survey
Provides information on the aquatic habitat, channel morphology, and surrounding infrastructure of the streams that run through LC property.
Ecology: Bird Survey
Shows the distributions of songbird, raptor, and cavity-nesting bird species found on campus during a bird survey conducted during the 2005/6 school year.
Ecology: Vegetation and Environmental Zones
Juxtaposes environmental zoning and landscape management types with studies done on invasive and native vegetation coverage on the campus.
Energy
Shows the College’s natural gas and electricity consumption and the consequent greenhouse gas emissions of these energy uses.
Integrated Pest Management
Depicts the use of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides, and non-lethal methods of control on the various landscape types of the campus.
Transportation
Shows parking, traffic volume, and bicycle parking on campus in the context of the surrounding streets and bus/shuttle service routes.
Water Map
Shows how different parts of the campus use water for irrigation, domestic consumption, and stormwater management.
