Risk Management
The College endeavors to provide a safe and healthy work environment, establishing a safety committee to monitor, evaluate, and recommend solutions to safety-related issues. Department policies are reviewed by the supervisor with new hires, and policy binders area available for employees to review at their discretion. Bob Tomlin, Risk Management Coordinator, oversees our College Safe Driving Program, Fire Marshal visits/inspections, ADA issues (such as barrier removal and reasonable accommodation coordination), Hazardous Waste Disposal, environmental protection, ergonomic surveys and job site modification planning, indoor air quality testing, water quality testing, and the Safety Committee. In addition, he is the point of contact with our worker's compensation insurance carrier and all other insurance claims.
