Ashley Kikukawa ‘06

Ashley is originally from Moloka’i, one of the smaller Hawaiian islands, but moved to Portland in 2002 to attend Lewis & Clark. She majored in Religious Studies and minored in Math. Ashley joined the Financial Aid staff soon after, starting out as the Departmental Coordinator, then going on to become the Loan Specialist, and is now working primarily with undergraduate students and their families.

When she’s not administering financial aid, Ashley enjoys helping the Hawaii Club with their annual Lu’au by teaching a hula class every spring semester. She also likes to spend her time volunteering at Metropolitan Community Church of Portland, trying new restaurants and local breweries, taking road trips to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival, hiking different trails in and around Portland, and doing improvement projects on her home in northeast Portland.
