Monitoring Funds

Work-Study earnings must be monitored closely by students and supervisors.

Students are awarded work-study through the Financial Aid process. The specific amount of the award is included on students’ award letters.  All work-study award amounts must be strictly observed.

Students can track work study remaining balances in Workday under the “My Work-Study Balance” tab.

Additionally, supervisors/budget managers receive a monthly Student Payroll report which shows the wages debited to their account for that month and the students’ remaining work-study balances.

When work-study awards are nearing exhaustion, notification requiring students to stop working is sent to supervisors.
