The Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium (HEDS)
HEDS is a not-for-profit organization of private colleges and universities that assists member institutions in planning, management, institutional research, decision-support, policy analysis, educational evaluation, and assessment.
National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
The NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education in the U.S. and other nations. It fulfills a Congressional mandate to collect, collate, analyze, and report complete statistics on the condition of American education; conduct and publish reports; and review and report on education activities internationally.
The stated purpose of the AAUP is to "advance academic freedom and shared governance, to define fundamental professional values and standards for higher education, and to ensure higher education's contribution to the common good."
PNAIRP is an international association for institutional researchers and planners from public and private post-secondary institutions and agencies from Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Idaho.
