Deanna Oothoudt

Deanna joined the Office of Public Affairs and Communications May 2005 as a student worker. She became a staff member in June 2006.

"I've been a bona fide word nerd since I wrote my first stories when I was 7 years old. These days, while I read lots of literature, I favor nonfiction and, of course, strategic communications in my writing. I'm excited to be doing work I love as an editor and writer. The fact that I get to do it for Lewis & Clark, my alma mater, makes the deal that much sweeter."
