Deanna Oothoudt

Deanna has been writing, editing, and analyzing for her entire life. In 2006 after graduating summa cum laude from Lewis & Clark, she turned these passions into her first full-time job with the Public Affairs and Communications team.

Deanna edits print publications, writes and edits electronic communications like the website and emails, and helps plan and coordinate the college’s strategic communications efforts, including advertising. She holds an M.B.A. from Portland State University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma.

As a graduate of Lewis & Clark, Deanna is an enthusiastic international traveler, most recently having visited France, India, and Spain. Most days, though, if she’s not in her office, you’ll find her close to home in the Pamplin Fitness Center.
