Lewis & Clark is not an island. Like any other institution, we exist in a highly competitive marketplace. We compete for students and for the attention and support of alumni, donors, and public influencers. In order for us to succeed, to stand out in a crowded world, we must project a powerful, authentic identity.
The Identity Guide serves as a map for everyone involved in communicating on behalf of Lewis & Clark. It provides directions for projecting a consistent and cohesive image. As you’ll see, this map is quite detailed in some places and less distinct in others. It will always be a work in progress.
Whether you’re working on a communications project through the Office of Public Affairs and Communications or without our direct assistance, please follow Lewis & Clark’s visual, editorial, and web/new media guidelines. They’ll help you produce communications that match the high quality of the institution’s programs and endeavors.
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please contact us. We look forward to working with you.
