Loan Information & Processing

Education loans are intended to help students and their families address the costs associated with obtaining a college education. While all of these loans must be repaid, the terms and conditions associated with each type may vary substantially.

The College will determine your eligibility for loan programs by evaluating your application for financial aid and will provide information about your eligibility through an Award Notification.

Please note:  Beginning with the 2010-2011 academic year, Lewis & Clark will be participating in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program.  After 2009-2010, federal student loans will no longer be originated with private lenders through the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program.
