H1N1 Flu Virus News and Information
H1N1 Vaccine Information
H1N1 vaccine is now widely available in most communities in the United States. Check with local health care providers or the links below for clinic locations. The Student Health Service may be offering the vaccine in the fall should there be a demand for it.
Multnomah County Health Department
We encourage community members to call potential vaccination providers before going, since they may no longer be offering the H1N1 vaccine, may only be providing it at certain times, or may only be giving the vaccine to certain priority groups.
For Students
Students with medical conditions that may put them at greater risk for complications from the H1N1 virus should call the Student Health Service at 503-768-7165 or their health care provider as soon as possible. These medical conditions include asthma, pregnancy, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and weakened immune systems. For a complete list, see the CDC website.
For other students please consider contacting your local health care provider about getting vaccinated. To locate a vaccine provider near you, contact your County Health Department.
Additionally, you can visit the Flu Vaccine Locator for a nation-wide flu clinic locator.
