Parking Citation Fines

Citations may be presented to the owner/operator in person or placed on the windshield. Each person cited will receive email reminders that the citation remains unpaid. To pay the ticket, visit scapay.com.

Parking fines for the same violation incurred within a semester or summer session increase by 35% for each successive violation. Parking violation fines are automatically charged to College accounts of Lewis & Clark students, faculty, and staff. Charges are reversed if an appeal of the violation notice is granted.

Booting and Towing of Vehicles

• Cars with 3 unpaid tickets or that have not obtained a vehicle registration permit may be booted or towed without further warning. A vehicle may be impounded without notice and at the owner’s expense if it is parked in violation. See Lewis & Clark Transportation and Parking Regulations for more details.
• A $35.00 booting fee will be charged in addition to the parking penalty.
• Payment of towing fees charged by a towing company is the responsibility of the vehicle owner/driver.
• For removal of a vehicle-booting device or for towing information, please contact the Office of Transportation and Parking or the Campus Safety Office weekdays from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. After 5:00 pm on weekdays or during weekends, please contact the Campus Safety Office for boot removal or vehicle retrieval if towed.
