Batsheva Dance Company, Artistic Director: Ohad Naharin

In a rare visit to the States, Batsheva Dance Company—founded in 1964 by Baroness Batsheva de Rothschild and Martha Graham—will make its Portland debut with Naharin’s full-evening “Deca Dance.” Ranging between bald aggression and fierce lust for life to capricious dream worlds, “Deca Dance” reflects Naharin’s vision of his dance company as an organic multi-faceted vehicle.
