Reverend Peter Gomes has served as Pusey Minister and Plummer Professor of Christian Morals at Harvard University since 1974. He is hailed by many as one of America's most eloquent spokespeople for social justice and progressive religion. The recipient of numerous distinguished awards and honors, he is also a renowned preacher and author. His books include The Good Life: Truths That Last In Times of Need, Strength for the Journey: Biblical Wisdom for Daily Living and The Good Book: Reading the Bible with Mind and Heart. After more than three decades working in higher education in America, Gomes continues to inspire a passion for justice in college students and all those who seek learning and wisdom.
