Lewis & Clark Law School is very pleased to host the Honorable Ronald M. Whyte as its Fourth Distinguished Intellectual Property Visitor. Judge Whyte was appointed to the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in 1992 after serving for three years as a Judge of the Santa Clara County Superior Court in California. Sitting as both a state and federal judge in a hotbed of intellectual property matters has provided Judge Whyte with extensive experience in many aspects of patent and other IP litigation.

Judge Whyte has taught and participated on many panels in the Intellectual Property Law area. He will be visiting the Law School February 3 through 6, 2003, to interact with students, faculty and members of the bench and bar in various settings.
