Missing Pieces and Whole Stories
First Thursdays, Noon-1 p.m.
South Campus Commons
The Oregon Center gives new meaning to the words, “ripped from the headlines”, as current events are discussed in a conversation series. Topics and speakers are drawn from current headlines, old headlines, course topics and pertinent local, national and global issues. Every first Thursday of the month at Noon in the South Campus Commons, a member of the community joins us for a brown bag lunch to give her or his -- often previously unheard -- piece of the story. Counselors, teachers, students and the public are invited to these free monthly conversations to learn, to see and respond well to what many of us may have been missing.
