This concert is a a musical tribute to the Lewis and Clark Expedition featuring a Portland Metro Middle School Honor Choir. Local composer and music teacher Christopher Rust, a graduate student at Lewis & Clark, was commissioned by Riverdale School District to compose the music. The choir will be directed by Gil Seeley, James W. Rogers professor of music, and accompanied by the Lewis & Clark Wind Symphony, conducted by David M. Becker, senior lecturer in music and director of bands.
