Enjoy a musical journey from around the world with Lewis & Clark College’s Choir in Residence: England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Korea, Russia, Scandinavia, Latin America, the Caribbean, the South Pacific, Africa, and the US. Drawing from his love of international music and extensive world travels, Artistic Director, Gil Seeley has plundered his archives for musical treasures. This concert features Tomas Luis de Victoria’s haunting a cappella mass, Missa en Magnum Mysterium, modeled after his famous motet, Magnum Mysterium, based on text taken from a responsory of Christmas Matins. Victoria is known as one of the most famous composers of the golden age of the Spanish renaissance. Traveling closer to home, we will premiere a work by Lewis & Clark College composition professor Forrest Pierce, Six Visions of the Nativity, based on a text by Dylan Thomas.

Tickets: $15-$38. Tickets West 1-800-992-8499, www.ticketswest.com (subject to convenience charge)

A limited number of complimentary tickets are available at the College Bookstore for the Lewis & Clark community.
