The Palatine Trio made their Portland debut at Lewis & Clark and at the Northwest Electro/Acoustic Series in 1999. To the delight of audiences, they perform a wide scope of musical styles, with influences ranging from classical to jazz. During their 2001-02 season, they are performing commissioned works from Northwest composers. Their program includes Addendum by Chick Corea, Mendelssohn's Trio in D Major, On a Clear Morning by Philippe Gaubert, and the world premier of Farbenspiel, a commissioned work by Gernot Blume, Assistant Professor of Music, Lewis & Clark College.
