Content: The second half of the twentieth century in British poetry was the age of Seamus Heaney, Philip Larkin, Ted Hughes, R. S. Thomas, and Eavan Boland. These and other significant poets will be studied in depth.

Prerequisite: Junior standing or consent of instructor.
