4.1.6 Student Support Services
The Coordinator of Student Support Services oversees the provision of academic accommodations, learning-disability testing, and academic advising for students with physical, psychological, and learning disabilities, according to the guidelines of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990.
The procedures for obtaining accommodations differ among the Lewis & Clark Law School, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Graduate School of Education and Counseling. However, the services are similar and the procedures are all intended to effectively provide for the appropriate needs of the disabled student within the structure and policies of each school.
Questions about academic accommodations for students with disabilities in the CAS or Graduate School should be directed to the Office of Student Support Services at extension 7156. Questions about such accommodations for students in the Law School should be directed to Academic Affairs at extension 6648.
