As in past years, Lewis & Clark Law Review, Animal Law Review, and Environmental Law Review intend to staff their respective journals from two sources: first, invitations to students in the first year class with GPAs in the top 10-20%* and second, invitations to students who perform well in a summer writing competition.

Information about the 2008 Summer Writing Competition is available for your review.

* The actual percentage may vary from year to year depending on the needs of the journals and the size of the 1L class. For 2006 and 2007 the cut-off was the top 15%.
