Animal Law Moot Court & Closing Argument Competition Registration Information

Registration will open on November 5, 2007 and close on January 4, 2008 (or until registration fills).

A Moot Court team is composed of two students who have completed at least one year of law studies from accredited law schools in the United States or Canada. Space is limited to the first twenty teams that register and pay the registration fee. No more than two teams from the same law school may participate.

Moot Court Registration Fee: $400 per team

The Closing Argument competition is open to students who have completed one year of law studies from accredited law schools in the United States or Canada. Space is limited to the first twelve students who register and pay the registration fee. No more than two students from the same law school may participate.

Closing Argument Registration Fee: $200 per participant

The schedule allows participation in both competitions.

Coaches, family, and friends are welcome to join you for your rounds. If they will be joining us for the banquet, the fee is $20.

How To Register

Please fill out the online form below after November 5. The form will direct you to a website for credit card payment and instructions for checks. If payment is not received within fourteen days of registration, you will be contacted by Laura Ireland Moore and your position will be forfeited.

You will not be registered until payment is received. In addition, you must include the names of student participants while registering. Please see the competition rules regarding substitution and refunds.

Please note that the office will be closed from December 21-December 29, 2007.
