Agency Commenting Guide

If you are looking for a way to make changes for animals today agency commenting is a great way to do it. “Comments” are essentially a detailed letter to a government agency concerning an upcoming agency action (for example, the issuance of a permit to import Polar Bears under the Marine Mammal Protection Act) in which you explain why the agency should or should not do something. This guide will give you an overview of how the agency decision-making process works, and why public participation is so important. It will also include a list of agencies that are currently accepting public comments on animal related issues.
