Mohammed Abu Zayed, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of training and development that derives from his direct involvement in training and consulting. He has been teaching a broad range of subjects at PSU, OHSU, and other organizations since 1988. These subjects have included Peoples and Cultures of the Middle East, Perspectives on the Middle East, Train the Trainer, Managing Diversity in the Workplace, Quality Improvement, Research Design and Evaluation, Team Building, and relevant training practices. In addition, he worked at OHSU as a management development specialist.

Dr. Abu Zayed has delivered a number of key presentations at Diversity conferences and has been an active part of planning such large events. He was a member of a key group that helped put on the statewide Oregon Conference on Disability (OCOD) more than 3 times. He has served as a group facilitator and internal consultant in a variety of organizations and settings.

He teaches with a passion and a deep understanding of learner needs. With more than 15 years experience in the field, he delivers on the promise of a rich learning outcome and a learning process that is focused, practical, and enjoyable.
