Pick up the missing pieces of the tsunami story in Sri Lanka. Join us for the next event of the Oregon Center’s Conversation Series, where Roshan Fernando and Allen Hall will give us their accounts of conditions in Sri Lanka and the lasting effects of the tsunami. This is a brown bag lunchtime meeting and will feature a slide show presentation of Allen's recent trip to Sri Lanka, and discussion about the upcoming work mission opportunity for those who are interested in visiting Sri Lanka this August. Roshan Fernando is a Sri Lankan-American living in Portland, who spoke for the Conversation Series in February and has since visited Sri Lanka. Allen Hall is a graduate student, and the coordinator of Oregon Center's Tsunami Response Initiative.
