About Summer Stipends
Each year PILP funds summer stipends up to $5,000 each so law students can work at public interest organizations that cannot afford summer law clerks. The benefit of the program is twofold: - Students can afford to work in the public interest sector and to gain valuable legal experience while still in law school;
- Nonprofit and governmental organizations receive legal help that they cannot afford.
PILP funds the Summer Stipend Program through a generous grant from our school and primarily through our Annual Auction.
