Apply to share Real Life @ L&C

We want YOU to help tell the Lewis & Clark College story to prospective students. They've seen all of the official stuff on the L&C website, but it's time to add a student perspective. We'd like to offer prospective students a window into daily life on campus -- in the Bon, in the classroom, in downtown Portland, on the athletic fields, and more.

Here's your chance to help out your future classmates. Apply below to join the Real Life team.

Two groups of students will be selected:

Inside L&C Profiles
You may remember Inside L&C, the website for admitted students where they can get the inside dirt on L&C as they make their college choices. Each year, current L&C students volunteer to be profiled, answer admitted student email, and contribute to the admitted student message board. Profiles will be posted from December 2007 through August 2008. At least 15 applicants will be invited to participate. If you are chosen, the responses you provide in the application below will be the basis for your Inside L&C profile. Please answer thoroughly.

Real Life Bloggers
Up to 9 applicants will be selected to chronicle their semester as a weblog. Bloggers will be required to post entries and photos each week, discussing life at L&C and giving a sense of their college experience. Volunteer bloggers will be provided with digital cameras for use during the fall semester. If a blogger is invited to continue participation through spring semester and meets all responsibilities, they will be allowed to keep the digital camera. Some bloggers may be invited to begin blogging in the spring semester and continue through the following fall. Read a complete description of blogger responsibilities here.

Applications are due by Tuesday, September 11 at 5pm.
Decisions will be made and applicants notified via e-mail by Friday, September 14 at 5:00pm. Volunteers selected will receive further instructions at that time.
