Spend a week engaged in the community that will soon be your home: Portland! Learn about how Portland is finding homes and safe places for all members of the city. Explore issues of hunger, poverty, and mental illness and be part of the solution. Visit local agencies such as Habitat for Humanity, Operation Nightwatch, Central City Concern, and The Rebuilding Center. No prior volunteer service is necessary for this trip—just bring enthusiasm and an open mind!
