Invitation to attend Pet-Power Hour to help pet-deprived students on Oct. 21
October 15, 2009
Esteemed Pet Owners!
It is a well known fact that the residential students here at Lewis & Clark are tragically pet deprived.
To remedy this situation, we are calling on you, the faculty and staff of LC, to bring your beloved pets for a pet power hour on Wednesday, October 21, from 4:00-4:30/5:00pm to the PacMan lawn
outside of Tamarack.
This will be a chance to get to know fellow animal lovers and some LC students outside of the classroom/work atmosphere.
If you have a pet who is good with people and other animals and you would like to share their company with poor, pet-deprived LC residents, PLEASE email Jen Schildmeyer at jens@lclark.edu. In your email please provide your name, your animal’s name, and a short description (i.e., what kind of animal it is).
We also ask that you bring some device to contain your pet (leash, carrier), even if you don’t use it.
In case of rain, we will be inside Tamarack!
People and doggie treats provided :)
Thanks,
Jen Schildmeyer
