Here are some resources for writing for the web, creating effective navigation, and keeping content fresh.

We are building new calendar to replace a number of current calendar and events tools we are using across the site. Take a look for instance at https://www.lclark.edu/calendars/events_alt/#view/month to see what is coming.

We will have a minor upgrade to the LiveWhale CMS around 4pm this afternoon, 1 Mar 2013. Editing will be off for about 30 minutes. 

We at New Media have a busy spring and summer planned, all towards helping your department or office better tell your story to prospective students. Here are some examples.

We are upgrading the server that runs the LiveWhale CMS, so there will be some time on Tuesday, 8 Jan 2013, that you will not be able to edit your site content. Particularly from 10am-12pm you should expect to have site editing be closed.

We upgraded our content management system tonight to the latest-and-greatest version. Lots of new features are available and many more will be rolled out in the coming weeks as we connect the internet tubes.

This December we are excited to update to the latest version of our LiveWhale content management system, 1.4.4. 

A new monthly newsletter provides useful information whether you’re a LiveWhale super-user or a newbie. 

If you are still using the old search and (broken) directory on the legacy site, please note it is going away at the end of next week.
