One more update on happenings on and around campus in the wake of Tuesday's attacks:

Since President Bush has declared today, Friday, September 14th "a national day of prayer and remembrance", the noon session in the Chapel today will specifically be a time for prayer and remembrance. Please contact Mark Duntley, Dean of the Chapel, for more information (x7082/duntley@lclark.edu).

Larry Meyers, Director of Overseas & Off-Campus Programs, encourages L&C community members, "to send e-mails if they have friends on our programs. Our programs are going well and students are in great shape. But I think it is important not to create a disconnect with what is happening on-campus."

Please join the nation in remembering those who lost their lives in the tragic events of September 11th. There will be a nation-wide candlelight vigil at 7:00 pm PST. Copeland Hall Council will be providing candles to members of the L&C community. We will meet in the Copeland main lounge at 6:45 and then walk down to the reflecting pool. Everyone is welcome. For more information contact Sarah Lundstedt at x8383/sal@lclark.edu.

And again, please remember that the Counseling Center staff are available (on the lowest level of Templeton Student Center, adjacent to the Health Center, x7160) each day. During non-business hours they are on-call and can be reached via the Office of Campus Safety (x7855) or through Resident Directors or Resident Assistants.

Thank you.
