Michael Krauss

AES Lecturer

Academic Background:

Nice to meet you! Since 1985, students, faculty and staff have been like a second family to me. I am always excited to meet my new students at the beginning of the semester and would enjoy getting to know you too! Because you are reading this, I know that we share something in common--we both use computers. One of my special interests is helping international students learn how to use technology to improve their English. Would you like to learn how to publish your work on the Internet, use business and educational applications like databases and spreadsheets, create an animated movie or a simulated city, express yourself using computer graphics, or meet new friends around the world via Email or electronic discussion lists? These and more are available to you when you study English at the AES!

During my time away from work, you will probably find me spending time with my wife and nine year old son. We enjoy tennis, golf, camping, gardening, and going to movies. By the way, every morning, you'll find me jogging with our dog, Peanut, even if I would rather be in bed sleeping! If you would like to know more about me and my family, please feel free to see my homepage. You will also find links there to student computer projects and our ESL Independent Study Lab. Feel free to try out some of the interesting activities! I hope to meet you soon!
