Our exploration of Corporate and Partnership Tax will take the form of five sets of problems, which you will be expected to work out on your own before we discuss them in class.
At the end of each problem set, you will find the Code and regulation provisions that will help you answer the problems. These may be supplemented by class “handouts” as we go along, and so be alert for possible additional reading (which, if it comes at all, will be short).
Also listed in each problem set are the portions of the Black Letter study
guide that cover the topics in that problem.
Please note that use of the study guide is completely optional; indeed, you may get more out of the
course if you don't rely on it.
