Dell Computer often offers temporary discounts and free upgrades available only on computers purchased directly from the Dell website. This includes the LC Student and Faculty Online Store hosted by the Dell University Program. Understand that this Store is maintained by Dell Computer, and that the recommended bundles on these pages do not necessarily correspond with Lewis & Clark College's system recommendations. The Computer Showroom is available for pre-purchase consulting on purchases made through the LC Student and Faculty Online Store.
We strongly recommend that you purchase at least a three year warranty from Dell when purchasing through the Online Store. In addition, be aware that the Computer Showroom frequently has lower prices on software and accessories than the prices advertised on the LC Student and Faculty Online Store.

Before proceeding to Dell’s Student and Faculty Online Store, we suggest that you keep the following in mind:

- Use the Dell Student and Faculty Online Store only if you are interested in purchasing from the Dimension or Inspiron lines of Dell computers. We receive a higher discount on Dell Optiplexes and Latitudes than the prices advertised on the LC Student and Faculty Online Store. If you are interested in an Optiplex or Latitude, contact the Computer Showroom or visit our Latitude and Optiplex pricelists.
- Computers, software, and accessories purchased through the LC Student and Faculty Online Store are direct purchases from Dell Computer. All hardware support and repair requests should be directed to Dell.
- Any payments made through the LC Student and Faculty Online Store are made directly to Dell. Any inquiries about or problems with your purchases should be directed to Dell.
