MEIRU LIU Meiru Liu, (Ph.D., Portland State University, 1996), has
been a Chinese instructor at Lewis & Clark College since
1994, teaching Chinese language and literature. Her research
interests are China studies, applied linguistics and Chinese
pedagogy. Prof. Liu is the author of two books:
ADMINISTRATIVE REFORM IN CHINA AND ITS IMPACT ON THE
POLICY-MAKING PROCESS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AFTER MAO:
REINVENTING CHINESE GOVERNMENT and INTELLECTUAL DISSIDENTS
IN CHINA. She has presented papers and served as an invited
speaker and panelist at local, regional, and international
conferences, and at American and Chinese universities,
academies and research institutions. |
