Mission Statement

Episcopal Campus Ministry is a welcoming and compassionate community knit together by liturgy and a shared quest for spiritual growth. We seek to balance a reverence for tradition with a willingness to grapple with our faith journey, our college, and the world beyond its gates.

ECM on Campus

Ever wonder how your spirituality fits into your daily life of classes, homework, parties, and friends? So do we! Come join us as we listen, question, and discuss. Everyone is welcome, regardless of of creed, color, gender, or number of times you've been born.

We meet the first and third Monday of each month at 6:30 pm. You'll find us in Templeton in the Montieth meeting room, across from KLC radio and the Dubach computer labs. Bring your sweet tooth, we'll provide dessert. Questions? Feel free to email Marianna Hane Wiles or Sara Calvert.

Meet the Chaplains

JoAnn Leach The Reverand JoAnn Leach
(503) 636-5618 x121
JLeach@ccparish.org

The Rev. JoAnn Leach serves as the Episcopal Chaplain at Lewis & Clark and is the Associate Rector at Christ Church Episcopal Parish. She moved here two years ago from Princeton, New Jersey where she served as the Episcopal Chaplain at Princeton University. JoAnn also served as the Episcopal Chaplain at the University of Utah. Before seminary, JoAnn served as an administrator and counselor at colleges in the West. This is a new campus ministry at Lewis & Clark and she hopes to create a ministry that is reflective of this particular campus. She believes strongly in student leadership and welcomes any ideas of what the ministry can become. Her particular interests are spirituality, building faith communities and outreach. She is married to The Rev. Shannon Leach, the Rector of Christ Church, and lives in Lake Oswego with her two sons, Tom (16) and Andrew (14). JoAnn enjoys getting out of down town Lake Oswego and onto the college and would love some invitations for chats on campus.
