1939  Born in Fukui Prefecture, Japan
1963  Graduated from the Department of Engineering at Fukui Univ.
      Joined Pola Cosmetics, Inc., as a researcher
1966  Graduated from the Tokyo College of Photography
1971  Retired from Pola Cosmetics, Inc.
      Started activities as freelance photographer
1989  Established Nirvana Ltd.
1992  Appointed as Principal of Tokyo College of Photography
