Elevation Profiles for Portland, Oregon Road Rides

I created this site to provide cyclists with detailed elevation profiles for common Portland-area road rides. The source of the elevation and distance data is a Polar S-720i cyclometer/altimeter, set to take data every 5 seconds. I use a simple computer program to create the profiles and to calculate the grade information.

Note that the various profiles are not commonly scaled, so that a steeper climb doesn't necessarily appear as a steeper curve. The true slope of each climb is indicated by the grade percentages that appear at the bottom of each graph, with the maximum grade indicated in red on the curve.

The following profiles are currently available. If the images are inconveniently large, smaller versions are also available. I will add additional profiles from time to time as I collect new data.
